What do “Compression” and “Breakage” mean, and do they hinder my ability to earn commissions?
Breakage is the phenomenon that occurs in any multi-tiered commission system when a certain commission is not “qualified” for some reason, usually because of pin levels, or volume restrictions. The only breakage that occurs in Socialtide happens when a basic affiliate, (someone who is not subscribed to our monthly subscription) earns a commission on any branch other than their first branch. This commission is then handled by the compression element, which pays the commission to the next qualified member in the tree. At Socialtide, Breakage and Compression don’t hinder your ability to earn, they allow you to earn more by stopping unqualified commissions from breaking back to the Foundation.
