What do coal plants use to get rid of the carbon dioxide?
coal plants have tall chimmneys that contain scrubbers that actually scrub the air as it passes over them, reducing the output of co2 and brings it down to 2 % from say 50 %. Even though co2 has NOT been proven to cause green house gases and global warming. The real culprit is the huge volano in Antartica which releases 70,000 tons of co2 daily. This is what we saw in the first pictures of earth satelites in 1956 and still see today in 2008. The ozone hole opens and closes at the will of the output from this volcano on a monthly basis.
