What do Christians think of Mariah Careys song “Touch My Body”?
Mariah did the video the way she did because it was fun. It wasn’t supposed to be a serious song anyway, and people shouldn’t be taking it so seriously. If you watch the different shows that she’s been on, she has mentioned this before. There are also different articles where she talks about it. I don’t remember where I saw this, but you can try to look for the information on fan sites. Many Christians take the song too seriously because the lyrics and video are the only things they see and hear. They don’t watch the interviews, or keep themselves informed on everything about her. She has many Christian fans who I’m sure love the song. Some people don’t care about the song, and there are others who think Mariah’s a lot of nasty things because she made the song. It all depends on who you speak to, but I don’t think you should hate it. You don’t have to like it, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t have an opinion.
