What do business process outsourcing mean..?
Business Process Outsourcing is what India is thriving on. When you have a large organisation, it requires a lot of resources like manpower, capital, etc. So these large organisations hire a firm or company to do some part of their job. That is how call centres work. For example a company in the USA would have to spend a lot of money on infrastructure and manpower to run their telephonic customer support centre. So they hire a company in India which is able to hire workers at a much cheaper cost who attend the calls on their behalf. This is just one example. Any part of a business that can be done independently by an outside agency can be outsourced.
