What do Assistantship awards entail?
Assistantships are a combination of cash payments and tuition waivers and require the student to work 10 hours per week as a graduate, research, or teaching assistant. Assignments of specific duties are assigned according to the current needs of the Department of Accounting. Tuition waivers include 9 hours of the in-state portion of tuition for each semester. The student is responsible for any out-of-state tuition and other fees. The cash portion of the assistantship is approximately $1,500 per semester.
