What do American women think of Indian (as in Asia) women?
I think Indian women, like American women and women around the globe, share many of the similar struggles in terms of sexism and at times, being looked upon as objects as opposed to people; however, my perception/concern for India is rooted more in the way of how people belonging to lower familial linage/social-economic classes are treated. It seems that, like the United States, those who are poor in India, are treated rather badly; so my view of India in general, stems from not a gender issue necessarily, but a social-economic issue.
