What do all of the initials after each practitioners names mean?
The state of North Carolina issues licenses for health care professionals. Ginna has acquired her License in Massage and Bodywork Therapy (LMBT), and her License in Acupuncture (L.Ac.). She is also licensed to practice health care in the state of New Mexico where she is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM). Ginna graduated from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in 2004 and earned her Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM). In 2005, she became a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is the President of the North Carolina Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCAAOM).
