What do acid-free, photo-safe, and archival quality mean?

Acid is used during the paper making process. Acid can partially disintegrate your photos over time. Magnetic Photo Albums contain this acid and can damage your photos over time. To the best of my knowledge, I only use acid free paper products. Lignin is a natural wood product found mostly in newspaper. This is what yellows newspaper over time. “Acid-free”, “photo-safe”, and “archival quality” products do not fade or discolor your photos over time. I will make every effort to use only products labeled as above when making your scrapbook in order to preserve your memories for as long as possible.
