What do academic probation, and academic suspension mean?
A cumulative GPA lower than 2.0 will place a student on academic probation. A student who has completed at least 13 cumulative credit hours at ACC must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Transfer credits from other institutions will not be calculated in your ACC GPA. The probation process involves meeting with an Academic Advisor during each semester of the probation. Probation remains in effect until the students ACC cumulative GPA reaches a minimum of 2.0.
