What distinguishes the BTOs work from McKinseys regular consulting?
The Business Technology Office works according to the same principles as any other McKinsey office. Our consulting work is fully integrated into the activities of the other offices. The BTO, however, is a function-based “global office”, whereas the other McKinsey offices are organized geographically. Its specific task is to develop McKinsey’s competencies in technology and lever them for our firm’s clients.
