What distinguishes NJITs Department of Biomedical Engineeing from those at other universities?
The BME department at NJIT was developed in recent years and had the opportunity to learn from other programs. While older programs may still be teaching is the same manner as they did several decades ago, at NJIT, we have adopted the studio style of education that encourages active learning on the part of the student. We have designed our new facilities to support this method.
