What distance can be allowed between pump and the probe hole?

No restrictions for the pump and probe hole locations. We supply 24 inches of tubing & cable to connect the probe to the control box. You can make the tubing any length should you wish to add more. It should be rigid enough so the vacuum does not collapse the suction tube when operating. You’ll also need to get an extension for the probe.
