What diseases or conditions does Wisdom Panel™ Professional test for?
Wisdom Panel™ Professional does not screen for any diseases or conditions. Our improved dog DNA test has the added capability of serving as a warning flag, allowing us to inform veterinarians through our report about potential disease or health conditions that may exist in dogs with certain pre-disposed breeds in their background. It is then up to the veterinarian and consumer to decide if they want to arrange a diagnostic test to confirm the existence of the disease or condition through a lab like Optigen, one of the leading canine diagnostic labs in the country.
