What disease hunter virus cause?

0

To my knowledge there is no virus by the name of “Hunter”. There is no viral family by that name either. But there is a syndrome which is genetic and X-linked recessive by nature called the Hunter Syndrome. In Hunter Syndrome children will unfortunately have mild mental retardation, heart problems, retinal degeneration, and joint stiffness. They will have an enlarged liver and spleen and a small jaw which interferes with feeding. Hunter syndrome classifies under what is known by the lysosomal storage diseases. Meaning that there is usually a deficiency in an enzyme which results in an accumulation of a certain substrate.
