What direction is Las Vegas nightlife heading in?
Jack Colton: That all really depends on the overall direction of Las Vegas. Nightlife has truly been a big part of the forward-moving momentum of non-gaming revenue along the Strip over the past five years, and has probably also contributed to the overall higher price point that our visitors now face every time they book a hotel room, order a meal or reserve table service. It will be interesting to see how our nation’s impending recession affects Las Vegas as a whole, and inevitably, the future of our nightlife. CP: What would you change about it? Jack Colton: I look forward to seeing the continued development of the venues on East Fremont Street. Downtown is more a bar scene with a Vegas twist, and is a lot more accommodating to the people who might not feel as comfortable within our more mainstream nightclubs.
