What direction do all moons orbit their planets?
Not all the moons go the same way – Triton ( amoon of neptune) goes the “wrong” way. The rest of them orbit their parent planets in a counterclockwise direction if we were looking down from above the north pole. All the planets orbit the sun in this direction too. And most of them rotate this way too. It implies that the planets formed from a spinning disk (to get them in the same plane they must form out of a plane, and to get them spinning all the same way, you need to system to have that spin in the first place.
