What dining options are available at LVC?
The college offers three main dining facilities. The East Dining Commons contains The Heartland, which offers “home cooked” entrees and all-American favorites: burgers, grilled cheese, fries, a salad bar, a cereal bar, and a custom order sandwich line. The cappuccino machine and soft-serve ice cream machine are student favorites. The West Dining Eatery has a salad bar and pizzeria, and serves international cuisine and Coney Island hot dogs. LVC students enjoy a variety of special culinary events. Theme dinners such as Thanksgiving, where students are seated and served by faculty members, sundae Sundays and the annual Food Fair are highlights of the students’ dining experience. Returning students have the option to choose between a 20-15-or 10-meal plan. Freshmen and new transfers are required to be on the 20-meal plan for their first year.
