What digital cameras look like 35mm cameras ?

Right most point and shoot cameras are highly consumerised and designed as disposable products. Therefore it is hard to find a product where care and attention has been taken over the design of it. Personally I would say the most like a 35mm camera is the Leica M8 system, but thats a rangefinder and costs £5000. Otherwise Sony probably takes most care over design. They employ high tech materials including aerospace alloys (mainly magnesium based, but also titianium). Plus care is taken over the ergonomics and styling. In the camera world most of the focus has been put to functionality, however in the past there have been some design classics, such as the Nikon F2, 3, 4, and 5 by Guigaro, and the Leica rangefinders, but beyond that nothing has really taken thw world of design by storm. We need a revolutionary look at cameras, a Bang & Olufsen of the camera world, a breath of fresh air.
