There are two different hardware versions(2003.01.17): -v1.0 (manufactured August 2002) -v1.1 (manufactured after August 2002) (see http://xbox-scene.com/versions.php) There are three different DVD-drives used: -Philips -Samsung -Tomson There are different harddisks used: -8GB -10GB (last 2GB not used by MS, to be compatible with old 8GB ones) (by Ulf Lamping)
