What difference does it make that Dordt is a Christian college?
A. It makes a world of difference. Faculty and students in engineering at Dordt explore together the relationship between their faith and their work. We believe that Christ is Lord over all of creation and of our lives. So we must try to understand how we as Christians are called to develop and use technology obediently. Gaining such an understanding is a struggle–a process that continues after students leave Dordt–but it is at the heart of what we are about at Dordt College. Class And, of course, though engineering is a demanding major, there’s more to life at Dordt than engineering classes and labs. Maybe you’ll be involved with sports, music, volunteer services, a Bible study group, or another extra-curricular activity. You can count on enjoying good times with friends and roommates. Whatever you do, you’ll be part of a Christian community that strives to make every aspect of campus life part of a total Christian education.
