What did you mean by “area covered\ in the Kepler model?
Imagine the orbit on a plane, and a string connecting the planet and the focus of the ellipse, and imagine the string covered in paint. As the planet moves around its orbit, the string will cover area with paint (the colored areas in the diagrams). Kepler’s second law states that in a given time, equal painted areas will be swept out by the planet.
