What did you do to live before PCs, DSs mobile phones & massive TVs?
I guess that I was alive in the “stone age”. PC’s—I use my PC mostly for entertainment and research. Before computers, I used libraries for research and did a lot of things for entertainment. I went skating, to ball games, skiing, parks, fishing, theaters and drive-ins, swimming, cook-outs, rode my bike, camping, etc. I really like my computer for researching and learning. I wouldn’t want to be without it but it doesn’t control my life. Mobile phones—I still have never owned one. I don’t want one. To me, it would be like a leash. No one needs to contact me any time they want. I like my privacy. When I talk to my friends, we call each other on the landline simply to invite people over. I like having people over to my house. I like talking to them face to face. I prefer actually spending time with them rather than just on the phone. Massive TV’s—I still don’t have a massive TV. Actually, I don’t like TV very much. The shows are usually stupid or boring. I’d rather be with a friend
