What did Vince Young tell a Baltimore television station?
Earlier this week, Vince Young told a Baltimore TV station that if he’s going to sit on the bench some more in Tennessee, then he’ll go somewhere else, where he can actually play. Now, his agent is taking it all back, and saying that Young is more than happy to stay in Tennessee and compete with Kerry Collins for the job. Contrary to his previous statements, agent Major Adams says that Young doesn’t want to be traded at all. This is definitely a good move by Adams on Young’s behalf, because whether or not you believe he should be playing, let’s face it… he’s in the perfect situation right now. Of all the teams in the league, there are very few where he could find easier competition for the starting QB spot. In Tennessee, his only competition is 36-year old journeyman Kerry Collins, who threw for 12 TD’s last year on 58.3% passing, and has a 73.8 career QB rating.
