What did Vera Farmiga say On the Orphan Shock Ending?
Vera Farmiga has suffered on the big screen in some dark roles, portraying everything from a drug-addicted mom to a mental patient. Now, she’s pushing it to the limit again opposite Peter Sarsgaard in Orphan. In the horror flick, Farmiga plays a woman haunted by the still-born birth of her baby who later adopts a young girl to fill the void. The actress told Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf what it took to put herself through the agony. As for the horrific shocker ending of the film Farmiga says, “I didn’t see it coming. I was reading the script and I screamed and I laughed. I couldn’t believe the way things turned out. I had never read anything like that before.
