What Did The Most Recent Survey In The United States Reflect About The Stance Of The US Muslims?

0

The most recent survey conducted in the United States elucidated that one out of four US Muslims advocate the notion of suicide bombing. Moreover only 25 percent of the Muslims believe that the United States ‘war on terrorism’ is a sincere effort on behalf of the United States to establish peace in the world. A vast majority of Muslims were of the opinion that Muslims were facing prejudice in the United States specifically after the 2001 attacks. This was the first nationwide survey conducted exclusively for determining the stance of the Muslims of the United States as a single unit, the population of which in the United States is about 2.35 million. In the aftermath of this survey, many Muslims are having the trepidation of having the survey findings being used as another tool of incorporating discrimination against them in the United States, which has become a more difficult place to live specially for the Muslims and more specifically after the September 2001 attacks.
