What did the League of Nations achieve?

0

The League of Nations achieved nothing. It was first formed to prevent another world war.But all they ended up doing was appeasing Hitler, which eventually lead to world war 2.They could have achieved something if they had a backbone. In fact the only difference between the League of Nations and the U.N. is longevity, and the only reason why the U.N. has stayed around as long as it has so far is because the U.S. and Great Britain have been the ones holding it together and that’s due to us being the only two nations with a back bone. There has been no step forward in the evolution of international organization. The U.N. still does all talk no action just like the League of nations. The only thing the League of Nations provided was a history lesson but so far the world still has yet to learn from it.
