What did the 79-year-old Barbara Walters announced on “The View”?”
Barbara Walters announced that she has plans to retire, but she didn’t say when. Walters told Larry King that she knows the date when she will retire, but she didn’t want to reveal it. She did reveal that she is signed on for the next season of The View and will leave the fabulous world of news to start a new chapter in her life before she is too old. She said that she doesn’t want to be on TV when she is 90 or people will start to wish she would go away. She is currently 79 years old.
