What did the 21st Amendment legalize?
The 21st Amendment ended Prohibition thereby repealing the 18th Amendment which had begun Prohibition on January 29, 1919. The necessary number of states (36) states ratified the 21st Amendment on December 5, 1933. The 18th Amendment is the only amendment to ever be repealed.
