One who do not understand from his mistakes is confined to doom. Similar is the case with Hindus cast system ,a s i have answered you earlier that Hindus are working on it,and still lot of work has to be done on it.But the day would come when at least we would establish a system where the person main identity should not be Cast.And to abolish the whole system at least a century more is needed. Periyar is not a classic case there are many more that can be discussed , and Hinduism as a religion is not above criticism. In fact they have capacity to take criticism and try to improve there faults,We are not a one book religion where what was written in 14th century is still being followed even if they are valid to the contemporary world or not.Hinduism meaning Sanatan Dharam and Sanatan means (continuous) one who moves with the time. But i wonder why you never ever asked any question against Islam, is it above criticism, or you think it is the only answer to the problem of Humanity.
