What did Nick Carraway look like and how old was Myrtle Wilson in the Great Gatsby?
I turned to film versions of “Gatsby” for some help here. Nick Carraway was played by Sam Waterston in the 70’s version of the movie and by Paul Rudd in a 2000 version. That might help give you some physical representation of the character. The actresses who played Myrtle were 27 and 35 when the films were made.
