My father always said the only stupid question is the one you already know the answer to. There were different thoughts about the Jews within the Nazi party. The official stance was that the Jews were a sort of subrace of humans (not really quite human) and should thus not be bred with. The Jews were supposedly getting rich off of the Germans by practicing usury – the loaning out of money at very high interest rates – kind of like when you borrow $10000 for 2 years and have to pay back $30000 all together.
