What did Martin Luther King Jr think about the black power movement?
He supported a general formation of power among blacks in politics and finance, but believed in non-violent actions. Groups like the black panthers he would not have supported. He also believed strongly that the civil rights movement applied more broadly to human rights, and that reverse racism was just as much an evil as the racism he experienced.
