Greetings! Each Christmas season we have an opportunity to provide support for the Ambler Weekday Nursery School through our Christmas Eve offering. The money collected goes directly into the school’s scholarship fund that this year provided some tuition reimbursement for 24 children. While this is the third year that I have had the privlege to tell you something about Ambler Weekday, the school has actually been telling its own story for over forty years through its nurturing of children from our congregation as well as those from the surrounding community. From its inception in 1965, the school has been a mission of the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler – in other words, the school is us. Last week, I spent time at the nursery school and I want to share with you just a bit of that experience. At a time when many children are being pushed to achieve so much academically and socially at such a young age, it was a pleasure for a couple of hours to be a part of a community with balance
