What did John rawls mean by “fair equality of opportunity”?
This sums it up better than I can; “Rawls argues that society should be structured in such a way that would allow similarly able people to have similar life chances by eliminating the effect of social contingencies on admissions processes and job opportunities, through inheritance taxes, government-funded education, etc.
