What did jfk believe in and what did he want to change?

Whenever I think of JFK, I think of civil rights. He wanted the races to have equal rights and really tried to help. For example, he sent federal marshals and troops to University of Mississippi to make sure everyone let James Meredith, an African-American, enroll for classes. He intervened a lot like that. He also believed in equal rights for women. He also wanted American to lead to way in the Space Race. The only problem is, a lot of the things he wanted did not get approved until after he was assassinated so he did not see many of his dreams come true.
