What did clergys do on holidays?
If it is a holiday (the word comes from holy day, after all) of your tradition, you led the appropriate rite, ritual or worship service. If it’s a secular holiday, clergy do very much what others in the community do. For instance, Christian clergy will participate in and lead services of worship for Christmas, but on Memorial Day or the 4th, they’d picnic, or go to beach or just relax. If you’re asking about holidays as in vacation, clergy are as varied as everyone else. They do what interests them, what they and family can afford, and some just never take vacation.
