What did children used to do for fun in Tudor times?
For low income children there wasn’t much time for fun. There were no child labor laws in those times. Most children began working in the fields or began learning a trade by the time they were eight years old. For upper class children there were toys, public puppet shows, and schooling which included (at least for boys) horseback riding, hunting, and sword fighting in addition to traditional studies.
