What did Calaveras do on Inauguration Day?
In Mokelumne Hill: We attended an inaugural watch party at the Hotel Leger. There were only about a dozen persons there at 8:00 AM ,but Ron Pitner fixed “Obamlets” for breakfast and there were muffins and goodies provided by members of the group. We had small American Flags to wave and we stood up when told, and cheered and clapped at the appropriate times. It was a small Moke Hill gathering but a very enthusiastic group. – C.
