What did Blackbeard look like?
He stood well over six feet tall and was an imposing figure with his feathered tricorn hat, long black hair and long black beard, worn in tangled dreadlocks. He was fond of lighting two pieces of hemp on fire and sticking them out of his ears to further his fearsome reputation of resembling the devil himself. In battle, he was armed to the teeth with pistols, swords and knives, and is known as the archetype of what a pirate looked like.
