Johnny Depp’s new movie, Alice in Wonderland, looks like a creepy drug trip for adults, but apparently it’s popular with kids too. According to the actor, his own children loved it. It might not be too difficult to see why a kid would be freaked out by the film. The trailers are full of odd creatures, the smiling cheshire cat with giant teeth, and J Depp himself (as the Mad Hatter) who looks like some sort of zombie clown. Still, his kids seemed to enjoy it. “My kids actually saw the film because I send them out there in the frontlines,” Depp, 46, said at a press conference in London on Thursday. “They saw it – and they loved it.” Lily-Rose, 10, and Jack, 7, apparently dug watching their Pops don an orange wig, talk crazy and sprinle magic from his hands. “They absolutely adored it, ” Depp said. “They loved every character.
