You can use this product on iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod touch devices. For iPhone and iPod touch, you must first upgrade to at least firmware release 2.0 (the 2.1 OS is recommended). For iPod touch this upgrade from Apple costs $9.95, but the upgrade is free for iPhone. iPhone 3G already has firmware release 2.0 installed so it’s ready to go.
