The state inspector will determine acceptance based upon the stamping and/or documents provided during the initial inspection of the heating boiler. The installed boiler will also be compared with Article 6 (instruments/fittings/controls) and Article 7 (installation requirements) of Section IV ASME code to ensure that the required instruments and controls have been installed properly. The inspector will check fittings supplied by the installing contractor to ensure they meet applicable standards and system requirements for pressure and temperature.
