What degrees fit best with the requirements of the Community of Scholars?
Students pursuing any AA or AS degree may join the Community of Scholars. However, students enrolled in an AA degree will find that the honors classes tend to fit best with their overall program of study. Specifically, students seeking majors with few pre-requisites for transfer will find they can easily take the required honors courses as part of their overall AA degree. Since AS degrees tend to focus on more specific hands-on courses, membership in the Community of Scholars would require additional classes beyond those necessary for completing the degree requirements. Students are encouraged to work with Mr. Shuler to facilitate graduating from the program in as timely a manner as possible.
