What defines unfit parents in Missouri?
I live in Southeastern side of Missouri. I have a siter-n-law that was basically in a similar situation as youare in…. Her husband works and they feed and cloth there kids but as far as clean or a clean house they always have a very messy house and dishes are always piled up in the sink or counter tops. DFS was called onto them as well. And, they will send someone adventually by too check on the kids and your envirement! Though, they caint make you keep a clean spotless house, this will give them some concern and depending on your type of circumstance it can go further… They have that right by law if they feel your kids are in a Unhealthy envirement! Though, its more up too a Judge too make a final decission on this it can be a night mare for you and your kid… My suggestion would be too pick up your house and keep it clean more than you have lately! If there are any smells like bad garbage or nasty cigs I would really keep your personal space clean… I hope this may help ya!
