What debts associated with the house are paid?
Back property taxes, all indebtedness relating directly to the property is paid; Including back homeowners fees, delinquent assessments, etc. IRS tax liens and judgment liens are not paid – these are personal debts and must be paid by the owner prior to the close of escrow. You will be responsible for all utilities, landscaping, pest control, and overall upkeep during the Lease Option period.
