You need a DC adapter with stable regulated output voltage, minimum requirements 8 to 30V DC, 100 mA. But as it will power not only the camera, but the full 1394 connection and any other device you may add on it, we strongly recommend to select a model of at least 12VDC, 1 A or best 15VDC, 1.5A.
