Jesus died on Good Friday on the cross when he said at 3:00 P.M., “It is finished” (after he got beaten).Then he rose from the dead on Easter Sunday!!!!!

Late Friday afternoon . . . . The Jewish leaders did not want a man hanging on the cross on Sabbath . . . so the Romans went and broke the legs (to hasten death) of the thieves on either side of Jesus . . . but Jesus was already dead. Friday (day ONE) Saturday (which began Friday at sundown) (day TWO) Sunday (which began Saturday at sundown) (day THREE) Jesus rose Sunday morning . . . . three days in the tomb . . .
