What data is required for CargoMax™?

0

The program is developed from technical information that reflects the physical characteristics of the ship. This information includes allowable shear forces and bending moments, and light ship weight data. Since CargoMax™ is intended to match the approved vessel documentation as closely as possible, data from these sources are entered directly into the CargoMax™ data file. This reduces training requirements and allows for easier testing and verification. For direct and more rigorous calculations, CargoMax™ uses the traditional station and offset representation of the hull form and all compartments. Not all data sources are required for every vessel, since vessel type and CargoMax™ options change the requirements. The database may require additional resources, for example, Classification Society archives, etc. Herbert Software Solutions can provide a detailed list of data requirements for each ship type and CargoMax™ option.
