What data is in the FEMP Standby Power Data Center?

0

The FEMP Standby Power Data Center contains searchable lists of products in over 20 product categories. Standby data for these products have been submitted to FEMP either by ENERGY STAR or directly from manufacturers. For product categories covered by ENERGY STAR, there are two methods of data collection: (1) For ENERGY STAR specifications that include standby power consumption (e.g., Computer Monitors and TVs), FEMP obtains standby power data directly from ENERGY STAR on a monthly basis and publishes it in the Data Center. (2) For ENERGY STAR specifications that do not include standby power consumption, FEMP obtains standby power data directly from manufacturers. This includes product categories where some covered products have standby consumption requirements in the ENERGY STAR specification and others do not, such as Imaging Equipment. If a product category is covered by ENERGY STAR, any of the products listed in the Data Center for that category meet the Energy Star requirements.
