What data is collected from service partners on youth participation and outcomes? Will that data be available to evaluators?
At the present time, there is no direct data collection done with EXTERNAL service providers. To be specific – there are no data sharing agreements in place with external groups to provide information to LAYC on Promotores participants. However, as part of their work, the Promotores are expected to collect all relevant data (using the proper release/consent forms) from external agencies. For example, LAYC does NOT have agreements in place with the District of Columbia Public Schools (to obtain report cards or other school regords) directly. But the Promotores work with the participants, parents, and school administrators to obtain this information when applicable. All of this information will be made available to the External Evaluator.
